About Us

Working in America and the UK, the team at Lasting Impression have over 15 years of experience in wedding and corporate event planning.

Melyni Bronson Thory

An award winning orator and corporate marketer,  Melyni Bronson Thory spent the first 12 years of her career in America, planning corporate events, developing and delivering training solutions, and creating and managing marketing campaigns for major financial services companies.

Most recently, Melyni served as Vice President of Training for a division of Merrill Lynch, responsible for providing training solutions for 14,000 Financial Advisors across the USA. Whilst working in the financial services sector, she earned multiple broker licenses and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation.

Outside of the office, Melyni has organised and orchestrated special events for Rotary International, the Jeffrey M Shumake Memorial Scholarship Fund, and numerous individuals. After planning her own wedding and relocating to the UK, Melyni has chosen to leave the financial services world behind and focus on her true love, event planning.

Emma Berry

Our other founding member, Emma Berry is a veterinarian by trade. Emma was trained in London at the Royal Veterinary College. She also brings invaluable experience in event planning and management, having organised countless weddings and parties. Emma is also our resident UK customs and etiquette expert as she was born and raised in East Anglia.

At Lasting Impression, we use a consultative and collaborative approach to completely tailor our involvement for each event and meet your every need. We can do as much or as little as you like and are eager to help turn your dreams into reality. We never forget that this is your event and for that reason, your input and involvement is vital.
